Used & Refurbished Instruments

We stand behind every instrument we sell. All used and refurbished clarinets sold by Kowal and Son LLC have been fully serviced, play-tested, and accurately described on our product listings.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we accept returns within 14 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return:

The instrument must be returned in the same condition it was shipped — no new damage, missing parts, or modifications.
You must contact us first at kowalandson@gmail.com or 352-327-8352 to initiate the return.
The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method and insuring the package for its full value.

Once the instrument is received and inspected, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Repair & Service Work

Repair and refurbishment services are non-refundable once work has been completed and the instrument has been returned to the customer. If you are unsatisfied with the quality of our service work, please contact us within 7 days of pickup or delivery and we will make it right at no additional charge.

Exceptions

We cannot accept returns on instruments that have been damaged after delivery, modified, or played extensively beyond a reasonable trial period. If an instrument arrives damaged due to shipping, please document the damage immediately and contact us — we will work with you to resolve the issue.
