Established in 2025, Kowal & Son is a small father‑and‑son, home‑based workshop that builds its reputation one instrument and one customer at a time. As a family team, our name stands behind every clarinet that passes across our bench, and we treat each one with the same care and respect we give our own instruments. We know how personal a clarinet can be, and our promise is simple: your satisfaction matters to us as much as the sound of a beautiful, well‑tuned note.

When we service or restore an instrument, we commit to workmanship that lasts—not just for today, but for all the rehearsals, lessons, and performances still to come. Every pad, cork, and adjustment is made with careful attention to detail, guided by the same standards we would expect if we were the ones stepping on stage. While we currently focus on clarinet, we plan to expand our services in the future to include flute, oboe, bassoon, and saxophone, always with the same dedication to craftsmanship and care.

All pad and cork work is backed by a 90‑day workmanship guarantee, covering any service‑related issues that may arise. All complete instrument overhauls and rebuilds include a 90‑day guarantee against defects in materials or craftsmanship (excluding accidents or normal wear from regular playing). If you ever have a concern, or something doesn’t feel quite right after our work, simply reach out. We’ll inspect the instrument, make things right, and ensure it performs at the level you expect from us—no runaround, no excuses.
