Lucas’s first official debut performance on Eb Clarinet. Lucas loves playing Eb and has so been looking forward to this concert for weeks.

Alicia Parfait adapted Shostakovich’s Waltz No. 2, originally written in a jazz‑influenced orchestral style, by transposing and arranging it for a quintet. She is an extremely talented player and teacher, and we are deeply grateful for her time, hard work, and love of music. Thank you, Alicia, for working with our students; they truly enjoyed and appreciated the time you spent helping them fine‑tune their playing to meet the demands of this piece.
