Restoring a vintage G. Pruefer high‑pitch (HP) wooden clarinet is an early‑20th‑century American instrument. Gustav (“Gus”) Pruefer was an American clarinet maker based in Providence, Rhode Island, active from the early 1900s until the factory burned down in the 1970s.
Unfortunately as with many vintage instruments it has some micro fractures. We’re not letting it stop us in restoring this beauty it’s just going to take a little longer.
